FRIDAY AUGUST 9, 2024 INFORMAL GATHERING, CORAL GABLES

An informal gathering will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Coral Gables, 2838 Grand River Ave., East Lansing 48823. We’ve reserved the party room for our group. Cash bar for all beverages, light snacks will be provided. No tickets required, just show up!

SATURDAY AUGUST 10, 2024 REUNION, THE UNIVERSITY CLUB of MSU

The reunion will take place on Saturday, August 10, from 6:00 pm to midnight at the University Club of MSU, 3435 Forest Road, Lansing 48910. Cocktail hour is from 6:00 to 7:30 with dinner beginning at 7:30. The ticket price is $100.00 and includes appetizers, dinner, dessert, (non-alcoholic) beverages, DJ, a dance floor, a cash (non-hosted) bar, and high-school-era photos so we can marvel at how much better-looking we’ve become.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Candlewood Suites East Lansing, which is attached to the University Club, is holding a block of rooms for us at a discounted rate. Here's the link. There are several other hotels/motels within five miles of the reunion, including Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Best Western Okemos/East Lansing Inn & Suites, all near the intersection of Okemos & Jolly Roads.

OTHER EVENTS

Reid Olds has generously offered to organize a golf outing, also on Saturday, and pickleball has been suggested as well. Please respond to this post ASAP if you’re interested in either event so we can gauge interest and get a headcount.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO FIND CLASSMATES!!!

We’re still sending out the call to alums in order to maximize attendance. This website only shows contact info for some of our classmates -- if you have info for others, please send it directly to Monte Montgomery (montgomery.monte@gmail.com) and he'll update the reunion committee's database so we can send out a blast informing them of all; the details. Don't worry, we won't make anybody's email or phone numbers public; this is strictly for our reference..
